Detailed Itinerary

1st Day in Crete
Welcome to Crete !! Our friendly driver will collect you from Heraklion Airport and drive you to the Palace of Knossos to meet our tour guide then a tour of the archaeological museum will continue and then a short tour of the city centre and we will drop you off at your hotel to enjoy your stay

2nd Day in Crete
We will pick you up from the hotel and we will head to the Cretan massif where we will visit the magical cave of ''Sfentoni'' where we will have a guided tour of the interior surrounded by Stalactites and Stalagmites. Then we will head to the traditional village of Axos where we will visit the wood-cutting museum we will have a guided tour by the creator of the museum Mr Koutantos. We continue for our lunch at a traditional hotel in Enagron where you will enjoy Cretan food all cooked with olive oil. Then you will enjoy your stay in a wonderful apartment in the area

3rd Day in Crete
We start off your way to Rethymno and will head to the Olive Oil farm to visit an olive mill where Mrs Joanna will give us a tour of how we collect the olives and produce the olive oil. After this tour, we will visit the honey museum where we will have a guided tour about how we produce genuine thyme honey in Crete. Then will head to the famous Pottery village of Margarites, where our friend Mrs. Hellen will give you a demonstration of pottery, the traditional art of this village. You will then continue to the Arkadi. monastery, the most famous monastery of Rethymno, with an exceptional history of the Holocaust in 1866. in the end, we head to the city of Rethymno where we will spend the night and you will have enough time to explore the old town on your own which combines Venetian architecture with Egyptian and Ottoman styles

4th Day in Crete
We depart from the city of Rethymnon and head to the well-known monastery of the Holy Trinity to visit the museums located inside the monastery and to have a taste of local wines produced by the monks. Then we will depart and stop at a panoramic point to take pictures from above the city of Chania and then we will head to the old port of Chania leave the luggage at the hotel and have a city tour
