Private Tour Pottery workshop Margarites, Arkadi monastery, Rethymno city

Duration 8 hours

Show Gallery

A private day tour in Crete to Margarites village, Arkadi Monastery, and Rethymno has something to offer to everyone, whether you are interested in history, culture, nature, or just relaxing on the beach, is a great way to explore the historical and cultural sites of Crete. Rethymno is a charming coastal town located on the northern coast of the island of Crete in Greece.

It is known for its well-preserved Venetian-era old town, which is a maze of narrow streets and alleys, lined with colourful buildings, shops, and cafes. The old town is also home to several historic landmarks and attractions, including the Fortezza, a 16th-century fortress, and the Rimondi Fountain, a beautiful Venetian fountain. Enjoy your lunch in Rethymno before the driver transfers you back to the ship.

Do not miss the opportunity to try some traditional Cretan dishes, such as dakos (a salad with barley rusk, tomato, and feta), dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), and moussaka (a baked dish with eggplant, meat, and béchamel sauce).
