Cretan Food Festival

The Municipality of Rethymno organises again this year the very important annual institution of the “Cretan Food Festival”.

The “Festival of Cretan Food 2024” will take place during the period 1 – 7 July 2024 in the Municipal Garden of Rethymno, with the aim of strengthening local productive enterprises and promoting the Cretan diet, the unique richness of the Cretan land and the innovative products that businesses have developed, as well as the island’s cultural elements.

It is an event that gathers high traffic from both Greeks and foreign visitors, who are looking to get in touch and get to know the Cretan Diet. Last year, over 15 thousand visitors passed through the gates of the Municipal Garden during the seven days.
